Despite being a total hardware and software solution, the QA401 is ridiculously low priced at just US $449. To put things in perspective, my Audio Precision APx555 retails for US $28,000.

The rear panels of the QA401 and QA451 each have a single USB port. The QA401 offers four primary measurements: RMS/Power, THD/THD+N, SNR, and Frequency Response. These are all accessible under the “Measurements” panel in the QAAnalyzer software package.
Photo 1: QuantAsylum’s QA401 audio analyzer is a flexible hardware solution for electroacoustic measurements. Standalone Hardware, No Sound Card Needed Audio test systems fall into two general categories: dedicated hardware or PC sound card-based.
Data can be stored locally, or QuantAsylum also provides free cloud access and storage of your data—permitting you to post-process and analyze your test results as you further refine your production test methods. Figure 2: These are the dBV options from the submenu panel.
AmpThdVersusFreq and AmpTdhVersusInoutLevel will now compute THD up to 96K (user specified option). If you are not in 192K mode, then you will see an error when running if you attempt to set frequencies in excess of Nyquist. Minimum increment for both plugins above is now 0.1 dB

Unlike a sound card, the QA401 offers isolated and differential IO with input handling up to +26 dBV.
QuantAsylum has a batch system called "tractor" which lets you automate your suite of tests. Overall, I am happy to recommend the QuantAsylum for its incredible value, functionality, size and overall ease of use. As always, questions, comments, recommendations, etc. are welcome.
