Location: Florida. #3. 06-27-2020, 08:34 AM. One thing we noticed in a shop I worked at, lifts were needing full rebuilds on seals because ATF was so harsh compared to hydraulic fluid. There were two that were rebuilt within a few months of each other and one company used proper hydraulic fluid and the original company used ATF.
