The 1-ball is always at the front of the rack, and the 9-ball is always directly in the center. Place all other balls in random order around the 1- and 9-ball. Like in 8-ball, traditional rules state that all other balls are placed randomly.
Table does need 2 ADULTS or strong teens to move even when assembled unless you are a professional body builder and have a 7ft wingspan. Its a little bigger than I thought it would be (which is a good thing) Assembly was next to a breeze.

Get the rack or triangle and place it on the pool table. Place the Yellow No.1 ball at the top or apex of the triangle. Ensure that the Black 8 ball is in the middle of the pack. Ensure the balls in the bottom left and bottom right corners are a solid and a stripe. It doesn’t matter which is which.
Straight Pool. Set the triangle rack on the table and place all 15 pool balls within the rack in random order. Position the rack so that the first ball sits on the foot spot on the table.
The Proper Way to Rack an 8-Ball Rack. The proper way to set up an Eight-Ball rack is to place the 8-ball in the middle and make sure that the back corner balls are of different types (stripes/solids). The top ball does not matter.
