It's completely state of the art and contains all the radio station equipment you need to broadcast online. We have a mixing desk, microphone, pre-processor, headphones, and much more which we will get into soon. We are using the Axia iQ AoIP mixing console. Because of Pre-emp you often loose highs when enabling the FM processing settings ( Composite Clipping helps a lot against this), Stokkemask and multipath distortion protection can have some impact on the amount of stereo separation, and BS412 lowers the level a lot.
Both UK and US commercial stations use the RE320 as an industry standard microphone. The RE320 has a dual position contour switch which picks up spoken word clearly, along with instruments like guitars and drums. As it’s a dynamic mic it cancels out background noise.
Adds extra pre-emphasis to the FM clipper on top of the FM pre-emphasis, to protect the FM signal that is sent to the transmitter against overshoots, and de-emphasises it again before outputting. If you have a clipper at the transmitter site, you probably don't want to use this.
