You should check the throttle control cables to insure throttle arm is against the stop. 1800 rpms the engine is out of quick start hot or cold. If the mtr temp is less than 105* QS will come on and the mtr will run at a higher idle and have a skip to it. After 105 * it will come on for 10 seconds only.
