I've worked as a guitarist since the early 80's - in bands gigging and recording, playing sessions. From 1990 I also worked part-time as a journalist - writing for musicians' magazines, reviewing equipment and gigs. In 2003 I started teaching myself electronics and started making my own effects pedals, and started Rainger FX in 2009.
