History on the RainJet corp. | LawnSite™ is the largest and most active online forum serving green industry professionals. Does anybody have any history on the RainJet corp? Such as Year established, models of heads, controllers, owners name, etc any info would be appreciated. I tried googling RainJet but some scam web site showed up.
Lots of installers did use their heads in more normal systems. I would love to see some CIT data on the Rain-Jet heads. The way they slung fat drops (less wind deflection and evaporation) of water over their coverage range, at a fairly low angle, makes any 'Rain Curtain' pattern look like a feeble imitation.
What Rain-Jet never told anyone, is that their 'special pipe' was one-inch CTS polyethylene tubing, without the usual markings, except Rain-Jet's branding. ~ I think I still have some of their fittings around somewhere. Proprietary compression stuff. Hammer a sort-of brass cone into the end of the poly, and tighten a nut on it.
