Care for a jacaRANDA tree almost always includes pruning. In order to give it the best shape to show off those blooms, smaller branches should be trimmed early in the spring. Clip off suckers that grow vertically and keep one main trunk with some major branches leading off from the middle. Keep excess branches cut, to prevent the weight of the tree from splitting the …

Vanda orchid plants need 80 percent humidity, which may have to be provided by a humidifier or spritzing the air. Repot every three to five years in spring. Fertilize during the growing season. Feed once a week with a one-quarter dilution of balanced fertilizer as part of good care of Vanda orchids.
Lighting is crucial, but first you have to determine what type of Vanda you have. There are strap-leaved, terete and semi-terete. The first variety is self explanatory, but terete has a round pencil-shaped leaf. Semi-terete is somewhere in between.
While the exact ancestry is uncertain, experts believe that this fish is a descent of a species of Asian carp. Orange and other colors sometimes occurred as mutations. However, domestication also brought new varieties, such as the ORANDA Goldfish. Today, the ORANDA Goldfish is a big deal. There’s even an official standard for the variety.
ORANDA Goldfish Care ORANDAs are freshwater fish and have a lot in common with many other goldfish in terms of care. As mentioned earlier, they are sensitive to water parameters so weekly water changes of 25% are needed. When oRANDAs are kept with smaller active fish, you will find their fins are nipped and even possibly bitten off.
Red Cap ORANDA goldfish require around 8-12 hours of light per day, which can be achieved through artificial lighting or natural lighting. If artificial light is used, day/night cycles are important to maintain sleep/wake cycles in fish, so they should get around 12 hours of dimness or darkness per day.
Hardness should be in the range from 6-18°dH and pH should be close to neutral (between 5 and 8). Like other freshwater fish, oRANDAs are very sensitive to changes in water parameters. When choosing a substrate keep in mind their love for digging. If your substrate is sharp gravel or uneven sand, your goldfish will hurt themselves.
