The Ready Brute Elite by NSA RV Products. The Ready Brute Elite is a multi-purpose aluminum tow bar that has this patented Ready Brake supplemental brake system integrated into the head of it. The Elite tow bar has the same great features of the Ready Brute with the extra features of the Ready Brake.
The ReadyBrake uses this energy to compress a shock and spring inside it which allows an actuator arm to move forward, pulling down your towed vehicle brake pedal with an attached cable.
More than just a towbar, the ReadyBrute™ Elite II combines an aircraft-grade aluminum towbar with the revolutionary ReadyBrake™ supplemental surge tow braking system. The Ready Brake is made of steel to insert into your RV receiver and everything is powder coated for extra durability.
When the lever moves forward the brake pedal is pulled down and when you drive the RV forward again it allows the lever to move backward and the brake pedal goes back up releasing the towed vehicle brakes. The brakes on the towed vehicle will work even when the brake booster on the towed vehicle is not powered (with the engine running).
