alfoot. Keep it simple. I also had this early on. I solved it by sliding a piece of clear plastic between the fuselage grille and the ESC, stopping the airflow (and any water which kicks up from the front wheel when on wet grass) from the grille. It does not appear to affect ESC cooling which also comes from the main wing intakes.
