Valuable resources included the RE-AIM website and collaborating with an expert. Discussion: RE-AIM is an efficient framework for planning and evaluation of clinical and community-based projects. It provides structure to systematically evaluate health program impact.
Generally, RE-AIM does seem to translate and be useful in the different countries and cultures in which use has been reported. Some international applications include low- and middle-income countries ( 25) including Australia ( 26 – 30 ), the Netherlands ( 31 – 34 ), and Brazil ( 35, 36 ).
Discussion:RE-AIM is an efficient framework for planning and evaluation of clinical and community-based projects. It provides structure to systematically evaluate health program impact. Programs found planning for and assessing maintenance difficult, providing opportunities for further refinement.

In such cases, a pragmatic application of RE-AIM may be warranted (4). We feel that full use of RE-AIM and going through all of the questions for planning purposes is possible. However, it is often more challenging for people in community and clinical settings to report results on all RE-AIM dimensions without research funding.
RE-AIM includes five dimensions to call attention to the importance of measuring not only a traditional clinical outcome (i.e. effectiveness), but also implementation outcomes that are less frequently assessed, but critical to producing broad impact.
