Roman shades, sometime referred to as Roman blinds, offer a unique solution for those looking for a blend between a curtain and a shade. Roman shades are made of fabric but built for precise light control to function like a shade. Because they are made of fabric, Roman blinds can be customized to fit with any décor for most rooms.
1. At the bottom pleat of the roman shade, locate the sewn-in hem bar. Snap the handle to the center if you only have one, or space them evenly if you have two. 2. To lower the shade, grip the handle(s) and slowly pull straight down. 3. To raise the shade, place your hand on the handle(s) with your palm facing up.
