Mar 25, 2018 . I pretty much followed the manual's recommendations for my jazz basses - volume all up, crack the bass to taste (about 9-10 o'clock for me), then treble (about 7-8 o'clock). Sounds great to me. I put a switch in my TBC 500SS to bypass the internal preamp and run the Sadowsky instead. The same settings sound pretty good.
