The rear speakers have the same set up, so if you have a problem with them follow those same steps with the SWA-8000 (the component that goes in between the two rear speakers). This resolved the “check rear speakers” message that popped up on the soundbar upon startup.

Having problems with your soundbar does not necessarily mean that you will have to shell out money for a new one. Usually, resetting your soundbar will be enough to solve any minor problems that you may be experiencing. Before you decide to completely reset your Samsung soundbar, try to solve your connectivity issues first.

• While NO DISC message appears on the display of the main unit, hold the remote control's STOP button for longer than 5 seconds. INITIAL appears on the display and all settings will return to the default values Please note: Using the RESET function will erase all stored settings.
Be sure to check that the BD HTS remote is on receiver mode, press the ID Set button for 5 seconds until the link LED starts rapidly flashing and then quickly point the remote at the BD HTS and press 0, 1, 3, 5 and then the power button. The linking LED will go from flashing to solid once linked.
Prepare your remote by pressing the BD receiver button which places the remote in receiver mode. • If you do not set the remote to receiver mode the steps below will not work. When the remote is in receiver mode, the BD receiver button flashes orange.
