Shifter cables are very generic and cheap - as low as $5 online for a set. You will also need a cable cutter. Dedicated bicycles ones make the job fast and tidy. You can use heavy duty wire cutters, but needs more care and is less successful get tidy and fray free cuts.

With outboard and tiller handle shift lever in NEUTRAL, place the cable trunnion into the lower anchor pocket. Adjust the trunnion nut so the casing fits onto the shift lever pin. Install shift cable on shift lever pin and install retainer clip.

For shifter housing there are two standards: Shifter housing with 4 mm outer diameter. Shifter housing with 5 mm outer diameter (the same diameter, but not the same type, as brake housing). All the shifter cables will run with no problems through housing by any of the above noted standards.
