Determining the current worth of any one machine can be a daunting task. In general, the value of old Singer sewing machines can range anywhere from a few dollars to several hundred or perhaps thousands of dollars.
The Singer Corporation produces a range of consumer products, including electronic sewing machines. It is now part of SVP Worldwide, which also owns the Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking brands, which is in turn owned by Kohlberg & Company, which bought Singer in 2004.
Full-size machines are usually wider than compact machines and this gives you slightly more space to manoeuvre the fabric around the needle area. The width / length / height dimensions of the Singer 2277 are 38.1cm x 15.7cm x 30.5cm. Or in inches 15” x 6.2” x 12“.
Vintage or antique sewing machines are those machines that survived the test of time. From its original manufacturing date up to now, this vintage machine remained and retained its original form and performance.

This zigzag machine has a set of levers on the top which, in combination with the 30 supplied fashion discs (flat cams), manipulate the byte of the needle to form dozens of decorative stitches. There was a free-arm version (320K) and together they represent probably the last of Singer's rugged, "all-metal" domestics.
