We have only had one false alarm since cuz he rolled over and kicked it off. He's a tummy sleeper so I love this for extra piece of mind.

Yes, there are false alarms, but it's not a computer chip error...it's placement error of the parent and movement that knocks the Snuza loose and it falls off and causes a false alarm. Those who are annoyed by this are probably not attaching it correctly.

LOL The SNUZA has changed that. It is easy to get false alarms, because the monitor can easily come loose especially if your baby is an active sleeper. (I don’t mind the occasional false alarm, because I know the monitor works. The first false alarm is intense …

False alarms were minimal with children under 6 months of age, but the incidents increase markedly once babies start moving and rolling over as the sensor becomes …

We had the Snuza with our first also. I liked that it would vibrate and try to rouse your baby before alarming. We had very few false alarms. Most of these were in the first month because he was so small. He was preemie and barely over 4lbs when we brought him home. It helped with my anxiety and we will use it again this time.
