A good deal on a clamp assortment isn't a very good deal if you're not likely to use half of them. The ones I use the most are the squeeze clamps, F-body, and the assorted sized black plastic spring clamps. I also have 2' & 4' parallel jaw clamps for larger projects. I have pipe clamps, I almost never use them.

Jan 19, 2016 . This part is NLA and I can't seem to find from any vendor. I can find a set of 1 3/4" W x 1.5" Deep clamps for the small spring clamp section available from Speedway Motors but I'm stumped trying to source a clamp for the fatter section of the Spring Stack that measures 1 3/4" W x about 2.5 - 2.75" Thick. Otherwise I will need to fab something up.

These days, lowering a vehicle not only increases its aesthetic qualities, it also lowers the center of gravity and enhances the ride response. Cutting or torching factory springs can ruin the tensile strength of coil springs, which can be disastrous. Coil spring clamps, however, provide a safer and easier alternative.

- Spring clamps or pinch clamps provide the least amount of clamping pressure and are suitable for holding delicate objects. - These specialty clamps may include toggle clamps, strap clamps, and corner clamps. Choosing may be challenging, but this best woodworking clamp review will surely make your decision easier.
This 3-inch spring clamp is a great multipurpose tool to keep around, and is ideal for small clamping jobs that require a significant amount of strength. The rubber-coated handles make it comfortable to open and close, and its alloy steel construction make it nice and durable.
Larger spring clamps are also more likely to cause dents in soft wood, since their pressure is focused on a relatively small area, so keep that in mind. It’s worth noting that you can also add your own padding to clamps, like wood shims or scraps, although it can be inconvenient and sometimes difficult to ensure nothing is slipping out of place.
Its cast-iron construction makes it sturdy and less susceptible to bending and breaking. Purchasing these clamps are the most financially sensible option in the market, and they make a decent addition to your workshop. These practical tools are suitable for woodworking tasks like gluing, drilling, and clamping woods into one.
