HPS Stainless Steel Spring Loaded T-Bolt Clamps are designed to provide high strength and a 360° seal. The added spring automatically adjusts the clamp diameter to compensate for the expansion and contraction of the hose when the temperature or pressure fluctuate.
They are for firm plastic and rubber hose and tube. For single spring clamps, use the optional spring clamp pliers to install and remove the clamps. Double spring clamps spread the clamping force more evenly around a hose or tube than single spring clamps.
Snap close or ratchet clamps are closed and tightened by a snapping or ratcheting mechanism. Tightening can typically be done by hand. Spring hose clamps uses spring action to tighten. Using a tool, the clamp is expanded to fit into position. Once placed, spring action of clamp holds and secures in position.
Double spring clamps spread the clamping force more evenly around a hose or tube than single spring clamps. However, the clamping force is lower than the single spring clamps. To install and remove the clamps, use optional straight-nose pliers.
