Caution: Keep wire clear of extremely hot engine parts such as the muffler, etc. Wire damage (cuts or burns) will cause the wire to short and your Tiny-Tach™ will stop working. Wire damage is not under warranty. The red wire should be wrapped around a section of the spark plug wire using 1 turn to start and try, or 3-4 turns.
The Playback Tach has the capability of recording up to 80 seconds of data. This data is stored in memory even after power is shut off, and can be played back any number of times. Any Auto Meter Shift-Lite™, or Quick-Lite™ Shift-Lite can be used with this tach. Up to four different shift points can be used to activate the Shift-Lite.
