2018-07-19. 2018 Tacoma was Far From Plug n Play. "I have to believe the rest of the reviews must have been written by their friends. My experience was horrible. The tweeter brackets were wrong, the amp rack was not for a 2018 tacoma, the amp was of poor quality. Out of the entire the wiring harness were the best part.

32 reviews of Tacotunes "SQ1 install on a 2016 Tundra Crewmax. The JBL system from the factory was bad. Door speakers rattled, bass popping at little over half volume. Had them install a SQ1 int he tundra, Plus sound mat the doors and back wall. Truck sounds awesome even loud. No rattles, clear sound all looks factory and keeps the factory JBL head unit.

"Did a lot of research online, and not wanting to cut up the wiring on my new 4Runner, the options were between Tacotunes, and another company based in SoCal. I like the fact that tacotunes allows you to piece together your requirements based on what you need and want.
I upgraded the sound system in my Toyota Tundra to include TacoTune's 5 channel amp, 12" sub, and wiring bundle. Everything arrived as described, and this company has numerous YouTube instructional videos to help with installation and tuning. The installation went great, and the sound is good.
