this is the enclosure I use for a lot of my new world terrestrial species. it is important to remember to fill it as high as substrate as possible. i fill it to the base of the door and ramp it upwards towards the back. this gives enough depth for the Tarantula to burrow as well as not having too much space between the floor and the top to avoid fall damage.

A Tarantula joint is the creme de la creme of joints. Here is a step-by-step guide to making one: Grind up your marijuana strain of choice and place the buds on a rolling paper. Add some cannabis concentrates, such as budder, honey oil, butane hash oil, resin, dabs, and more. This is what gives the Tarantula joint its potency.

-Tarantulas are the largest spiders in the world. In the United States, they are mostly found in the Southwest. -A female Tarantula can live 20 - 25 years. A male Tarantula only lives about 7 - 8 years. -During most of the year Tarantulas are nocturnal and stay close to their burrows.
Tarantula joints are a combination of bud, oils, concentrates, and kief. The result is a joint that looks a lot like a Tarantula. As the joint is rolled in kief at the end, it gets a brown, hairy tinge, giving it a fuzzy arachnid-like appearance.
Buy Tarantula Enclosure Supplies at Chewy! urticating hairs are no joke and may new world Tarantulas have them. they can cause itching, burning and even small blisters. reactions vary based on peoples sensitivity and species of the Tarantula. protect yourself when rehousing, cleaning, or anytime you are at risk of having hairs kicked at you.
Buy Reptile Terrariums & Habitats at Chewy! These make the best hides for both arboreal and terrestrial species. I prefer to cut them in half long ways and lean them up against the side of the enclosure for arboreal Tarantulas. I will also cut them in half or snap to the size I need for terrestrial species.
The fact is, many of Tarantula care sheets are just plain WRONG. For the sake of this argument, let’s define “care sheets” as those brief, usually single-page basic care instructions for specific pets or animals. These sheets usually offer the basics like what and when to feed, ideal temperatures, humidity, and set-up.
Replenish as needed taking care to not saturate the substrate. Although Tarantulas acquire most of their water from their food, it is a good idea to provide a small, shallow dish of fresh water to adult Tarantulas. The natural evaporation will also provide beneficial humidity.
As a rule of thumb, an enclosure should be two or three times the legspan of the Tarantula in both width and length. It is also highly recommended that the distance from the top of the substrate to the top of the cage be no more than the legspan for terrestrial [ground-dwelling] species.
The window in my T room is always open except in these extreme conditions; this helps with the humidity, for in Miami, the humidity is normally above sixty-five percent 65%, which make it easier to care for my Tarantulas.
