Manual filter disc is available for efficient operations practically with very minimal maintenance. It consists of different plastic rings that stick together to create cylindrical filter element. As water flows through the manual filter disc, the rings compress and effectively blocks the contaminants.
Disc filtration is depth filtration, making it the most effective filtration for surface water, and water containing organic contaminants. Thanks to a special design of the disc's grooves and a 1-backbone structure, Netafim’s disc filters offer the industry's highest filtration efficiency – stopping 3 times more dirt particles than the competition.
Tie every set of discs to a string and then place them in the cleaning solution which can be water. You can also refer to the installation/operation manual for the right cleaning solution. Soak the filter disc in the cleaning solution to remove sticky debris such as algae on the grooves.
- The irrigation filtration element consists of grooved discs, mounted on a spine,forming a cylindrical filter element. The disks are compressed together by a spring located at the bottom of the filter cover.
