Adjusting the loft on the TaylorMade R1 driver using its hosel. The face angle and loft settings are interconnected making adjustments easy to do. You need to adjust the loft and face angles simultaneously. The TaylorMade R1 driver offers many combinations to experiment with face angles.
The TaylorMade R11 Driver adds the latest technology and of course, a cool new acronym. Adjustable Sole Plate Technology (ASP ® ) adds a dedicated function for adjusting the face angle, creating what TaylorMade is calling "The 3 Dimensions of Distance" corresponding to the three technologies working together.
The FCT on the R11S allows you to adjust the loft of your head by as much as 1.5 degrees, using one of eight settings. By adjusting the angle of your clubhead ever so slightly, you can get a higher loft that will give your ball more air or tune it down for a lower loft and a straighter shot.
To help you get your driver in order, we’ll explain what each setting does and how it can affect your game. The FCT on the R11S allows you to adjust the loft of your head by as much as 1.5 degrees, using one of eight settings.
