The steps outlined below guide you on how to do the flat setting adjustment of your driver. Put the TaylorMade wrench inside the screw on the clubhead at the back. Turn the wrench a couple of times in the anticlockwise direction to loosen the screw. Take off the clubhead from its position above the club hosel.
When you take a closer look at your TaylorMade R15 Driver, you will find that it has two distinct moveable parts: the hosel sleeve, and the sliding weights. Even though you have a few adjustability options on your hand with the R15 Driver, it takes only a few seconds to modify your club according to the specifications.
Optimize the settings on you TaylorMade SIM Driver. Adjustments are made with the Torque Wrench. Use the wrench to loosen the screw in the center of each weight, then slide the weight to the desired location and lock it in place by tightening the screw until you hear an audible “click” noise from the wrench.
Insert the TaylorMade wrench that comes with the driver into the screw at the rear of the clubhead. Turn the wrench in the anticlockwise direction until the screw becomes loose. Remove the clubhead from its position over the club shaft.
Experiment with the different settings to find the correct combination for your swing and favorite course. Turn the driver over to expose the bottom of the driver head. Use the R9 TaylorMade white handled torque wrench provided with the driver and loosen the shaft bolt holding the shaft into the heel of the driver.
How Do You Adjust the Weights on a TaylorMade R7 Driver? To adjust the weights on a TaylorMade r7 driver, remove them from the bottom of the driver and insert the 10-gram weights closest to the hosel for maximum draw, closest to the toe for maximum fade, nearest to the face for low trajectory or furthest from the face for maximum trajectory.
The TaylorMade M2 driver is built for distance and speed. The engineering at head’s weight delivers optimum performance. There is a lot of adjustment opportunity lies in the hosel area to change the range or lower the loft. Give the driver draw or fade bias. And change the spinning amount when anyone hitting the ball.
Turn the driver over to expose the bottom of the driver head. Use the R9 TaylorMade white handled torque wrench provided with the driver and loosen the shaft bolt holding the shaft into the heel of the driver. Turn the bolt counterclockwise until you can lift the head off the shaft and expose the Flight Control Technology sleeve.
