You will only need honor 1 ring however since the one from terrokar spirit shards is better. I'd expect around 80-100 hrs of bgs to get your full offsets+a couple of set pieces in S1 if you're not playing premades. Premades are rarely a thing on private TBC servers so i'm not exactly sure.
