Select the “CROSSFIRE” folder and long press “crossfire.lua”, select “execute” from the dropdown list. You can now configure both the TBS CROSSFIRE TX and RX. If you don’t see the option “XF Micro/Nano RX”, it means your receiver is either not bound or the power is off.
C o n n ect i n g C R O S S F I R E Mi cr o r ecei v er. V1: The TBS CROSSFIRE micro receiver comes with two sockets. One is for BST capability (BlackSheep Telemetry), the other is for one (1) R/C output which can be configured to either PWM, PPM, SBUS, or CRSF.
Configure Betaflight for Crossfire. The last step is to setup Betaflight to recognize the Crossfire protocol. Go to the “Ports” tab in the Betaflight configurator, and enable “Serial RX” in the UART you’ve connected to the TBS CROSSFIRE receiver. Press “Save”.
SBUS is a high frequency one way communication protocol, up to 150 updates per second (Hz). While our TBS CRSF (CROSSFIRE) is a two-way, low-latency, error detection, communication protocol which allows uplink- and model-telemetry (via BST to RX) to be carried back to the remote control.
