Plus the X-racer has high quality TBS vTX. Plus you can use all of the Parrot accessories, both OEM and 3rd party. That's cool.

Description: Tris buffered saline (TBS) solution with the detergent Tween®20 for use as a wash buffer during western blotting. Product is shipped and stored at room temperature. 1X Formulation: 137 mM Sodium Chloride, 20 mM Tris, 0.1% Tween®20.
The following preparation is based on Method 1 (Table 1 in the composition section) for the preparation of 1L of 10X TBS buffer. Weigh 24 g of Tris-HCl, 5.6 g of Tris base and 88 g of NaCl. Add 900 ml of distilled water. Stir the mixture using magnetic stirrer until salts are dissolved. Check for the pH of the solution.
If you have a 10X stock, mix 100 ml of stock to 900 ml of distilled water to get 1L of 1X TBS solution. Adjust the pH of the 1X if required.
TBS is calculated using a specific algorithm that is optimized for each scanner model. In order to be able to compare TBS values calculated from scans acquired on different scanners, a X- calibration must be done. This X-calibration is a linear correction that will be applied on TBS output values.
