The following courses are available to meet the needs of providers and instructors: Provider Course: 16-hour classroom course for EMTs and paramedics. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as TECC providers for 4 years, and 16 hours of CAPCE credit.
Upon successful completion of TECC, students will receive an NAEMT certification as a TECC Provider (valid for four years from course completion) and 16 hours of Category-I CMEs/CEUs from CAPCE (formerly known as “CECBEMS”). California Law Enforcement may submit POST-2-213/213A for Continuous Professional Training (CPT) credit.
