Unistellar’s proprietary software mitigates the impact of light pollution and allows for distant objects to be observed in crisp detail, even from bright inner-city environments. For each observation, Unistellar’s technology swiftly identifies background light, then automatically filters and removes this unwanted light, delivering the best possible image parameters and results.

Jul 21, 2017 . Unistellar I fully concur with Mike's assessment of Unistar's potential application as applied to variable star observing. These gimmicky, rich man's toys, are fine to the casual stargazer, but with their questionable spectral response relative to the human eye, or CCD detectors, I would never want to see the magnitude estimates the observer ...

Turn your eVscope on, choose an object on the Unistellar app and observe. No need for constellations knowledge, no polar star alignment, the eVscope does it all by itself and in a few minutes. More about the eVscope.
Unistellar’s smart telescope design makes it possible for stargazers around the world to explore the wonders of the Universe from their backyards (even in light polluted skies), without prior experience.
Unistellar is a business group consisting of technology, education, and data divisions with supporting advisory services in corporate finance, investment, and strategic relations. Our mission is to create National prosperity and resilience through entrepreneurship and digital economy. Digital, defense, and consumer technology.
To focus the telescope, you make use of a large knob at the back of the telescope. The slight delay between the telescope movement and the app, as well as the slow shutter speed, made this part a bit more difficult, but after a few minutes of adjustments, I was all set, and focusing wasn’t a problem after that.
Using a big heavy telescope with all the cables and a big external battery comes with the price that is portability. Unistellar eVscope is lightweight 19.8 lbs (9kg), including a tripod. You can take it anywhere you want.
Another cool thing about the Unistellar app is that you can see the image on the screen of your smartphone or a tablet, not only in the eyepiece of the eVscope. The telescope allows connecting more devices at once, so if you have a party, you can show what the telescope sees to more people at once.
The Unistellar eVscope is intended for people who are interested in astronomy but don’t have the technical knowledge about telescopes and astrophotography. It is a user-friendly telescope without the need to know the night sky or star alignment, polar alignment, and such things.
