Unovent's modular ventilation system constantly circulates air around your home, removing odours, helping to reduce moisture, and flushing out pollutants and irritants. It’s a positive pressure ventilation system, taking fresh air from the roof space, filtering that air, and gently pushing it into the rooms that need it.
Was that the Unovent or a Smartvent? A friend of mine installed this system (4 fans, + Controller) end of summer last year. His house has a almost flat roof with next to 0 roof space so was not possible to install an alternative ventilation system.

A standard Unovent v-line is fitted with a G4 polymer filter and an optional NZ wool F7 filter. 3 rd party airflow testing of the Unovent v-line in-situ with the G4 filter is 9.0 L/s, and with both the G4 and F7 filters resulted in an airflow of 4.2 L/s.
The Xgen system by Hometech Limited is available as room outlets for mounting on the ceiling (Unovent v-line), with their own individual, low voltage and low wattage fan to draw normally drier air into the living space type rooms. No control panel to master — install-and-forget with ongoing 12 month periodic cleaning of G4 filters
