As far as drumming goes, V-Drums are designed to give you the experience of drumming without the fuss, noise, mess (broken heads, sticks and wood chips everywhere!) and on-going expense of an acoustic kit. They are also very easy to use and setup even if you’ve never played the drums before.
* A Roland V-Drums series drum set is required in order to use this software. - V-Drums module with a USB COMPUTER port: USB 2.0 cable is required. * Use a computer with a USB port that support USB 2.0 Hi-Speed. * If your V-Drums module does not have USB audio functionality, an audio cable is required.
Setup V-Drums left or right-handed. Choose your preference. Clear a space and unpack all the items checking them off while referring to the manual as you go. Start by building the V-Drums rack then attach the pads and cymbals.
The V-Drums Tutor contains built-in songs covering a wide range of styles, from basic exercise patterns to songs with backing tracks. Beginners can start practicing immediately as the V-Drums Tutor respects all musical levels.
The TD-50 is the first V-Drums module to feature an XLR stereo master out and eight TRS direct outs, allowing for a balanced connection to a PA system. Assigning a pad to any of the individual outputs is simple, while convenient master/headphones volume controls and group faders balance the output levels instantly.
Introducing the Roland TD-50KVX, the flagship in our acclaimed V-Drums range, created for top-flight live performance, intense practice sessions, and eclectic studio work. Built on the foundation of the new TD-50 module with Prismatic Sound Modeling, this electronic kit provides Roland’s most impressive and wide-ranging sounds yet.
Roland TD-50 Rack Setup for Right-handers Setting up the V-Drums rack for Right-handers: First, lay the two curved pieces down on the floor, with the straight ended jacks labelled kick, toms etc exiting to the far left corner. That’s where the module will go.
Using the module’s SD card slot, it’s easy to trigger your own WAV files using any of the TD-50KVX’s drum pads, and you can loop or layer them alongside the internal sounds while controlling volume and tone via the TD-50’s front panel.
