Masking The Vac-U-Tug. Enlargements of those tiny painting photos in the back of the instruction manual. While the parts could be painted separately, before joining the hull to the deck, I recommend against that because spilled model cement or CA adhesive will soften or dissolve the paint.

VINTAGE SOLING REPLACEMENT KEEL NOTE: The Vac-U-Soling keel is mounted to the hull with two 1/4-inch stainless steel threaded rods. The location and diameter of the two threaded rods fall within the dimensions of the vintage plywood keel spar where it exits the body of a vintage keel.

Keel mounting hardware and deck hardware are stainless steel. Removable fiberglass pre-wired & lighted lead-free crossmember accommodates sail servos from standard footprint high-torque digital models all the way up to the HS-815BB large servo. It is pre-cut for a standard sail servo and a mini rudder servo.
