I ordered the Valley Oak because it is adjustable without tools, you can changed attachments easily and its steel construction. The good thing is, if you forget it outside it won't rot like wooden handled hoes. Very happy here. I use this every other day and sharpen the blade every couple weeks.
My first outing with the Broadfork was in our newly erected Polytunnel and the soil was compacted like concrete, the Broadfork made it very easy for me to break it up ready for my Mantis Tiller. The Wheelhoe with the small blade has been great for weeding and also for cutting the sod off areas I am putting into a Veg garden.
Wheel hoes are tools you push through the rows of your garden to weed, till, cultivate, or plow. They have one or two wheels in the front, a tool-mounting area in the middle, and a set of handles in the rear. They first became popular in the late 1890's. What a wheel hoe is used for depends on what attachment is fastened to it.
