Dec 29, 2016 . The "Hub Controller" is apparently missing. The controllers are matched to the headset, the link boxes are both set up and show a green light. But i've never gotten the headset to shot anything, it remains dark. All i've got to go on is the above posted missing "Hub controller". Got my Vive jsut today, can't figure out the issue.

When I refresh the list of devices under the USB category in SteamVR settings, all are present except for the Link Box Hub Controller. Is this detected on a normally healthy system? Is it referring to a USB controller in the link box that the Vive is supposed to be compatible with, or is it referring to the "parent" controller of the link box?

Now I can plug in a few things at a time, instead of the many I had with Windows 7, but that Vive USB hub is still hated by Windows 10. With the Vive plugged in I can only plug in the bare minimum needed for racing (and streaming): Mouse, keyboard, Xbox controller, Vive, steering wheel and pedals, a single webcam, and a single wireless headset.

Vive Tracker Dongles have to plugged into separate USB ports. They cannot be plugged into a single hub. They cause interference between eachother. Fortunately I used the hub for all of my other USB stuff. So I at least freed up space on the mobo for the dongles. Took a LOT of fiddling with it, but finally got it to work.
