Jan 01, 2019 . Yes there is. You have to have your key. On the inside of the hatch toward the bottom in the middle this is a small (~2 inches long) opening. To open the Gas Door when it is stuck, you will need a tongue depressor or something about the same thickness. Make sure all door are unlocked, then gentle place the tongue depressor in the gas door where the locking mechanism is located. Now gently pry the door open, this take a little bit of prying but this will pop the door open.

If the actuator has failed then unfortunately there is no cable for the fuel door its all operated by a electronic click push type actuator even if you remove the boot liner trim on that side you may not be able to get the latch to release because these actuators are replaced when the fuel door is open
