I had a $40,000 budget. I read all the reviews and tried all of the most popular and decided on this 2021 Tiguan SE R-Line Black. The SE had all the features I wanted (with the exception of the rain sensored wipers) with nonne of the things I didn't need (navigation, leather seats, third row seating) I'm 6'6".
Yes, the Tiguan is a good compact SUV. It delivers a smooth ride over most road surfaces, and few rivals have more passenger and cargo space. This Volkswagen also has plenty of standard and available features, and it's one of the few compact SUVs available with three rows of seats. It does have some shortcomings though.
