With the economical turbo petrol engine with 1.4 litre cubic capacity a dynamic 210 HP (154 kW) is available instead of the standard 160 HP (118 kW).

Engine chip tuning is a process where the electronic control unit is reprogrammed, making the engine work within different parameters. The ECU chip is located in the injection system and regulates the amount of air and fuel mixture that takes place. When you reprogram this, you can tell the chip what you want to happen with this mixture.
Tuning chips effectively tell the computer that it's receiving colder, denser air than it really is. Cold, dense air has more oxygen than warm air, which means that you get better combustion. The computer compensates for this by sending more fuel to the engine, resulting in more "bang."
