Confirm proper installation of the battery and that the power supply is securely plugged in. The battery charge light should be on. You should only use the vtech power supply provided with your Baby Monitor. Make sure the electrical outlet is working and not controlled by a wall switch. After 1 minute, press the Find/Page button on the Baby Monitor and see if the Parent Monitor's are paged. If not, then the Baby Monitor's Transmitter has gone out in it. Reset the Parent Monitor's back to Factory Defaults and try again just to be sure.

If either one of your parent units won’t turn on, you may simply have drained or faulty batteries. Plug in the power cable to the parent unit to check if the device will turn on. If your device will only turn on when plugged into the power cable, then you may have to replace the batteries in your device. Disconnect the power to the baby unit and parent unit.
No matter what you do, you can't get your parent or baby units to turn on. If either one of your parent units won’t turn on, you may simply have drained or faulty batteries. Plug in the power cable to the parent unit to check if the device will turn on.
To turn off the vibration feature: Step 1. Press MENU/SELECT when the Parent Unit is not in use. Step 2. Press ▼ or ▲ to choose VIBRATION, then press MENU/SELECT. Step 3. Press ▼ or ▲ to choose OFF, then press MENU/SELECT. You will hear a confirmation tone. The Parent Unit may be too far away from the baby Unit.
• The default volume of your parent unit is level 3, and the maximum volume is level 5.
