That's the perfect gear for providing energy at sail, and gives a reasonable 15 to 20 amps in 12V in average conditions between 6,5 and 8knt boat speed.

An innovation: Watt&Sea has engineered a hydrogenerator with excellent output, performance, and reliability. In 2015 we became a dealer for Watt&Sea Hydrogenerators for Canada and the USA – and our customers elsewhere in the world.
Watt&Sea recommends servicing every 2 years or every 10 000 miles. It should be noted that, regularly, you can : When shall I schedule a revision ? A revision has to be done every 10 000 miles or every 2 years. You will find all the different level of revisions with your Watt&Sea dealer.
Watt&Sea doesn’t have any specific data on the effective drag of the device, or about the speed loss it generates. All immersion and lifting trials at constant speed have not shown any substantial difference on the speedometer. Testimonials back this up. Can I replace the propeller?
