The BC-13 was specifically designed to allow 24-pin guitars to work with the new Roland GR-50 guitar synthesizer. The name is short for "Bus Converter 13." This is a neat little box that converts the 24-pin guitar signals into 13-pin signals. There are three connectors on the BC-13: a 24-pin input connector, a 13-pin output connector, and a 1/4 ...

Roland GR-300 This page is packed with tons of material on the classic vintage Roland analog guitar synthesizer, the Roland GR-300. Details, schematics, repair tips, modifications and more, including a summary of the original patent application and an explanation on how the GR-300 works.
Service Manuals AKA (Also Known As) Schematics, this site has service manuals for all the Roland vintage synth gears and related products by Ibanez and Korg. The service manuals includes parts listing, explanations, etc. And be sure to check out the individual pages, with notes on service bulletins and additional technical information.
Roland weren't the inventors of the guitar synthesiser, but they can definitely claim the crown for setting the gold standard with the launch of the G-303 in 1980. Every gold standard needs early pioneers. And Roland have to thank Dick Denney at Vox for coming up with the first properly workable synth-guitar in the 1960s.
Roland G-303 Fans of the GR-300 also know and love the amazing Roland G-303 guitar synthesizer controller. Popularized by Pat Metheny as his go-to controller for his guitar synth for more than 30 years, this instrument is a real beauty, a classic example of fine Japanese craftsmanship.
