The Ashton Manual recommends 0.5 mg, while some in the benzo-harmed community say to taper all the way to zero, or anywhere in between. Looking back at my own journey, I think that it is best to taper as low as possible, since you are trying to ease the landing, but in my opinion it’s not necessary to drag it out by tapering to zero.
