Your Youview box can only do an auto retune and will pick up channels from active transmitters it receives signals from. These may not be very strong if you were getting no additional channels showing in the high number channels (think the 800's but may be 900's). Rather than retune have a look at the channels you may have there.

Aug 19, 2014 . Youview manual tuning. Just got a Talktalk Youview box off eBay. I'm currently testing it out at home where there's no issue as Sutton Coldfield is the only good signal off our aerial, but I can't see any manual tuning options in the menu. The house where we'll end up using the box may pose more of a problem with this.

The main transmitter is within reach though as my old freeview box could be manually re-tuned to the main transmitter to pick up all the services. But it doesn't seem like a Youview box has this option... It might be possible to "trick" the Youview box into tuning in where you want it to.
