The biggest downside to me is language barrier. It displays only in Japanese and the user manual is a pain to translate. Converting from M/s is not a problem once you are used to it. An suggestion to the seller: make an English version, or enable copy function on the pdf manual. I still recommend the product because it is a crazy deal.

There are a number of Yupiteru manuals that you can download from the following web address; http://radiopics.com/1.%20Manuals/Yupiteru.htm But not the 3300, try looking at the 7000 or 125 manuals as these may be very similar programming wise. Unfortunately the 3100 manual seems to be in Japanese as these were similar to the 3300.

If the radio is being used with standard alkaline batteries, do not use the AC or car power adapters. or the batteries have been removed from the radio. continually will overcharge and overheat the batteries. Bo th of which will drastically shorten their lifespan.
Pretty accurate distance calculation. Better than the Swing Caddie SC200. I find that when the SC200 usually short-changes me by about 10% - 15%, this Yupiteru unit is usually over-generous by about 5%, in final carry distance. But this unit is for the Japanese domestic market.
