Click “Update Device” and select “Manual.” Select “Firmware” and choose the firmware file you have received from our support team. Please do not open the firmware file. It can only be opened by the Z-Flash. Click “Upgrade.”
The Z-Flash comes with everything you need to get started. With the included software and USB cable, you can keep your device up to date, select your flash patterns, and deactivate lights. The Z-Flash also features a pre-programmed Drive Mode* that allows your Z-Flash to work while your vehicle is in drive.
Using diagnostic signals, the Z-Flash Plug and Play Flasher tells the vehicle to activate the respective lights using the OBD-II port. The flasher module does not rewrite computer code or affect the vehicle in any way. The codes are the same that the dealer could use to diagnose your vehicle through the OBD-II port.
Open the Z-Flash Software. The Z-Flash Programming Utility window will appear. First, confirm that you are using the correct software version. Click on the question mark on the right-hand side of the window. You should have “Version 2.0.0” or later installed.
To activate, plug the Z-Flash into your OBD-II port, use the included switch or hardwire into your controller, and go! The Z-Flash comes with everything you need to get started.
