The ideal cooling area for Zero Breeze Mark 2 is 25~40 sq ft. If the space is larger than that, although the cooling effect of the whole space is not obvious, you can also feel comfortable at location closer to the air conditioner, especially near the cold air vent.
Using the Zero Breeze Mark 2 air conditioner as a portable unit outside, in the yard or in the park, we were actually amazed at how much it cooled us down. Of course, in these cases, there is an enormous amount of inefficiency and loss to the great outdoors, and we needed to be very close to the unit and pretty much right in the airflow.
At launch, Zero Breeze was praised as a disruptive product, yet this praise was not to be sustained. As the product eventually succumbed to bad reviews and complaints. Most of the feedback highlighted design failures and battery pack life. For instance, even though it claimed to be the coolest portable AC on the market at 1,100 BTU’s.
If not, it is recommended to use the Zero Breeze Mark 2 battery to power the air conditioner. It normally can work for 3-5 hours in cool mode (more than 5 hours in sleep mode). It should be NOTED that Mark 2 battery does not support working while charging.
The original Zero Breeze did a terrible job at this and things often ended in spills. Zero Breeze air conditioner reviews made it clear that the device does a terrible job at managing water. To be fair to this AC, you can also find plenty of reviews where people are gushing over this device.
The AC does look good, but it’s not all that portable or sleek. Zero Breeze Mark 2 measures about 20 x 13 x 8 inches, which isn’t in the neighborhood of a small AC. It also has a substantial weight, clocking 17 pounds on the scale. That’s not including the large battery and adaptor you have to carry along for this “portable” AC.
Zero BREEZE MARK2 uses high-efficiency miniature inverter air conditioner compressor and compact high-efficiency fan system. It can drop the air 30F lower than the environment within 10 minutes. Compared with traditional portable air conditioners, MARK2 is 60% lighter and 48% smaller in size.
You cannot charge the battery while it’s powering the Zero Breeze Mark 2. Instead, it needs to be attached to its own adapter. Quite like the battery, the adapter is something of a giant too. You can run Zero Breeze portable air conditioner from direct power, without using batteries.
