Zoia does not sum to mono if only one output is employed. The consequences of that depend a lot on the patch (for instance panning or a ping-pong delay would have more of an effect than a chorus). And many of the modules are not your standard guitar-effects fare; they’re far more likely to be found on a synthesizer, like the LFO, ADSR (attack, decay, sustain, release) and slew limiter. If you’ve never dabbled in the world of modular synths, the Zoia can be a bit intimidating. At first blush it’s a bewildering array of lights and buttons.
