    The Lab599 TX500 is an excellent, rugged QRP rig. I compared the Rx to the KX2 and could find no differences. The antenna used will determine success much more than the rig. I have worked coast to coast with a resonant 40m EFHW. The TX500 is also excellent for FT8.
