Restart the MC, and press Ctrl + J for the correct operation of the MadVR settings for the projector. Use Ctrl + J with an open settings dialog. Access the configuration, start playback by right-clicking anywhere on the screen and going to DirectShow Filters> MadVR.

My settings are optimized for the Nvidia 2080 Ti, Windows 10, and on my LG CX 48" 4K OLED TV with profiles for SD, 720, 1080, UHD, and above. 3D is disabled.

The guide has 5 main parts: installation, video decoding, audio, MadVR configuration, and reclock (optional). The installation part is really easy, and if you really wanted to keep things simple, you can actually just use the installation section alone and be in decent shape.
I have potplayer + MadVR (i followed the guide precisely) Click on the menu button (3 dots) next to Madshi Video Renderer to open MadVR's settings.
