Organic Content Standard (OCS) What is the OCS? The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is an international, voluntary standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of certified organic input and chain of custody. The goal of the OCS is to increase organic agriculture production.
Products that meet all requirements may be labelled with the OCS logo. The OCS is managed with the input of producers, suppliers, and brands and retailers from all parts of the globe. The first version of the OCS was released in March 2018. The OCS 3.0 revision process began in 2019, and the updated standard was published on March 1, 2020.
